While the city of Mobile, Alabama, oozes culture and a large concentration of historic architecture, it also has an extraordinary baseball story to tell.
Mobile is the hometown of five players in the National Baseball Hall of Fame: Satchel Paige, Henry Aaron, Willie McCovey, Ozzie Smith, and Billy Williams). Across all of America, only New York City and Chicago have produced more baseball Hall of Famers.
These five men combined to appear in 60 All-Star Games and win three MVPs, 16 Gold Gloves, two Rookie of the Year awards, and three World Championships.
