On August 26 in Huntsville, the Alabama Humanities Alliance will recognize award-winning musicians and Alabama natives Brittany Howard and Jason Isbell as Alabama Humanities Fellows.
This evening event at the Von Braun Center will feature an in-depth conversation between Howard and Isbell, and each honoree will perform a song they’ve selected for the occasion. Another legendary Shoals musician, Patterson Hood, will be our special guest to present each Fellow with their awards.
Tickets are on sale through the Von Braun Center and Ticketmaster. All proceeds benefit AHA’s public humanities programming statewide.
