The Encyclopedia of Alabama is a free, online reference resource on the state’s history, culture, geography, and natural environment. Since it launched in 2008, it has shared Alabama’s stories with visitors from across the globe. EOA’s mission is to present trustworthy and authoritative information on a wide range of topics. New content is added to the site regularly. Its editorial office is located at Auburn University.
