A SUPER Teacher workshop for Alabama educators. Teachers will receive both a historical and ecological examination of Alabama's river systems. Participants will also tour the "Water/Ways" Smithsonian exhibit on display at the Elba Theatre and learn how to use Google Earth in the classroom.

This workshop will be led by:
--Dr. Jim Brown, Ph.D., historian and retired Samford University professor
--Dr. Bill Deutsch, aquatic biologist and retired Auburn University professor.
Participants will receive:
--$100 stipend
--Five CEU credits
--Copy of Dr. Deutsch's book, "Alabama Rivers"
