DAY ONE OF THREE

Alabama has 132K miles of rivers and 3.2 million acres of wetlands. And it's critical that students understand just how much Alabamians depend upon those waterways. Join us for three half-day virtual workshops as we explore technologies that can better connect students to water, and discuss the role of a humanities education in better protecting our water.

Registration is limited to 30 teachers. Registrants must attend each day and can earn 11 hours of professional development credit. This workshop is offered in conjunction with AHA's upcoming statewide tour of the Smithsonian's Museum on Main Street exhibit, Water/Ways.
